Veterinarian

Dr. Sydney Whelchel (Ellis) grew up in Salina, KS and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She then attended Colorado State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and minored in English. Dr. Whelchel earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2020. She has a special interest in orthopedics and neurology. During undergrad she volunteered extensively at the Salina Animal Shelter. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and animals and vacationing in Colorado.
