Dr. Karen Hale-Young graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and  purchased Town & Country Animal Hospital from Dr. King in 1987. She has grown Town and Country Animal Hospital into a multiple doctor, full-service facility offering the most progressive and up-to-date treatment for dogs, cats and exotic pets throughout Salina and the surrounding communities. Dr. Young-Hale initiated the difficult process of  becoming Kansas’ first Fear Free Certified Practice.  In her personal time she shows horses during the winter in the Florida circuit and loves her kids, animals, her job and life.
